Summary: Our group of 4 adults totally enjoyed our stay here. The dock was a beautiful place to relax after a day on the road. The house is comfortable and well appointed - the kitchen had everything we needed. The fireplace kept the area cozy on chilly nights. We also enjoyed sitting in front of the “glass wall” with coffee or cocktails and taking in the view of the lake. We watched a local rowing team practice on that lake almost every day. We definitely recommend this house and would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Summary: We loved everything about this vacation home. The house is newly renovated and felt very welcoming and cozy. Everything we needed was provided and everything was very clean. Our most favorite part was the lake view from the house and the beautiful garden. Our kids enjoyed the open space for playing. The house comes with a boathouse and a large dock. We spend many l hours fishing. Hopefully we can come back one day.

Summary: Every winter I find a place to escape the Alberta winter for a month. I had never heard of Shawnigan Lake but loved the look of this Lakehouse. The photos and description were enticing… but the magic and beauty of this waterfront home far exceeded expectations. An hour drive from Schwartz Bay ferry terminal. An unassuming front of house with a door to a beautiful home that blends the indoor comforts with outdoor magic. This is a stunning home and location that is beautifully decorated and fitted with the best of everything you need for a restful sleep, a morning coffee on the water, and a fabulous kitchen for creating (gas stove too). There are endless walking/running trails and quick access to cafes, restaurants and a community of kind and interesting people. Recharged my soul.
